Is steering vibration at high speeds a common issue in Mercedes-Benz E-Class in Pakistan?

My Mercedes-Benz E-Class has a noticeable vibration in the steering wheel when driving at higher speeds. Could this be related to suspension o r wheel alignment issues? What are the common steering vibration causes in Pakistan due to road quality, tire condition, o r worn-out components?

Yes, steering wheel vibration at high speeds is not uncommon and can be caused by several factors, particularly in Pakistan where roads may be uneven o r poorly maintained:

Unbalanced o r Worn Tires: Uneven tire wear o r imbalanced wheels are the most common causes.

Misaligned Wheels: Poor alignment can lead to vibrations, especially after hitting potholes o r rough terrain.

Worn Suspension o r Steering Components: Parts like control arm bushings o r tie rods may wear out prematurely on bumpy roads.

Brake Rotor Issues: Warped brake rotors can also cause vibration, especially if felt during braking.

Damaged Rims: Bent o r cracked wheels due to potholes can create noticeable vibration at speed.

What to Do:
Get a wheel alignment, tire balancing, and suspension check. Also inspect tires and wheels for damage. Regular maintenance helps extend tire life and ensures safer high-speed driving.
