High temperatures in areas like Sindh and Punjab may affect electrical components. Could this be contributing to alternator breakdowns?

Yes, the alternator is susceptible to overheating, especially in:

Punjab and Sindh, where summer temperatures can exceed 45°C.

Hot engine bays in stop-go traffic combined with inadequate cooling especially if the engine cooling fan is weak o r obstructed raise alternator temps.

Overheating shortens the lifespan of internal windings and voltage regulators.
