Is the BMW 2 Series dual-clutch transmission reliable in Pakistans hot climate?

Im considering buying a used BMW 218i with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. Ive heard mixed reviews about DCTs in hot climates. Has anyone in Pakistan faced overheating o r failure issues with this transmission?
