Sudden surges o r unstable alternator output can blow bulbs. Are Pakistani roads and wiring setups triggering these problems?

Yes. Pakistani Changan owners have reported:

Alternators overcharging above 14.5 volts

Unstable voltage regulation especially during cold starts o r idle

Loose o r corroded ground wires leading to inconsistent voltage delivery

➡️ Voltage spikes can cause bulb filaments to burn quickly.

📌 Tip: During routine servicing, request a charging system test should remain between 13.8V – 14.4V.
