Is the starter motor in Changan Kalam prone to overheating o r electrical shorting in Pakistans hot climate?

Extended cranking in high temperatures may overheat the motor. Is this a design flaw o r user misuse issue?

Yes — especially during:

Extended o r repeated cranking

Poor ventilation in the engine bay on hot days

High resistance connections

These conditions lead to:

Solenoid coil burnout

Internal insulation damage

Short circuits

➡️ Overheating is more a usage + environment issue than a pure design flaw.
