I drive a 2022 Haval H6 1.5T in Karachi, and recently I’ve noticed green coolant dripping from the front lower side of the car after parking. The temperature gauge hasn’t gone up yet, but the coolant level keeps ping every few days. I checked all visible hoses and couldn’t see any leaks there. One mechanic said the radiator might have a small crack o r damaged seal, possibly due to heat and road vibrations. Has anyone else faced radiator leakage problems in their H6 in Pakistan? Is it better to repair o r replace the radiator, and where can I find an original GWM radiator locally?

Here’s what you should do:
Pressure Test the Radiator: Any good workshop can pressurize the system to pinpoint where it’s leaking. Often, a small crack near the radiator’s side tank o r around the plastic-to-aluminum joint causes this type of slow drip.
Avoid Temporary Sealants: Radiator sealant liquids can clog the cooling channels and damage the water pump.
Repair o r Replace: If the crack is small, a radiator repair specialist can fix it with epoxy o r heat welding for around PKR 3,000–6,000. However, if the radiator fins o r tank are badly damaged, it’s best to replace it.
OEM Parts: Original GWM radiators are available in major cities through Haval service centers o r parts dealers. Chinese aftermarket ones are cheaper but don’t last long in Karachi’s climate.
In short — get it pressure tested first, and if the leak is on the tank joint, go for replacement rather than repair for long-term reliability.
