Replace 2LT engine from Prado 1998

Replace 2LT engine from Prado 1998

I am William from Tanzania Africa, I own a Prado 1998 with 2lt engine - automatic, and I am facing the temperature issue in it when I drive to hilly areas. I am thinking about change the engine to 5L o r 1KZ.... I would prefer 5L over 1KZ ... will 5L works well?

Yes it will, it is a beast of an engine and it has a lot of torque
