What are the signs of a radiator leak in my Mercedes-Benz E-Class? Detail:
Recently, I’ve noticed coolant levels ping and the temperature gauge rising in my E-Class. I also see small puddles under the front of the car after parking. Could this be due to a radiator leak? What visible and hidden signs should I look out for to confirm a radiator issue?

Signs of a radiator leak include:
Coolant puddles: Visible coolant under the front of the car, typically green, orange, o r pink fluid depending on the coolant type.
Low coolant levels: Frequent need to top up coolant between service intervals.
Engine overheating: The temperature gauge rising above normal, especially in traffic o r hot weather.
Steam o r coolant smell: Steam coming from under the hood o r a sweet smell near the engine bay.
Wet spots o r corrosion: Around the radiator, hoses, o r clamps, indicating fluid escape.
To confirm, a mechanic can perform a pressure test on the cooling system to detect leaks accurately.
