Black smoke indicates excess fuel burning due to clogged air filters, faulty fuel injectors, o r turbocharger problems reducing air intake.

Replace o r clean air filters regularly to maintain proper air-fuel balance.

Have fuel injectors inspected and cleaned o r replaced if faulty.

Turbocharger leaks o r failures also cause poor combustion and should be repaired promptly.

Addressing these issues improves emissions and fuel economy.
