What causes the power window switch in my Hyundai Sonata to stop working intermittently?

My Hyundai Sonata’s power window switch works sometimes but doesn’t respond at other times. Is this a common issue, and what might be the root cause?

Intermittent operation usually happens because of:

Dirty o r worn contacts inside the switch.

Loose o r corroded wiring connections.

Faulty window control module in newer models.

Solution: Clean the switch contacts o r replace the switch if damaged. Also, have wiring inspected and repaired if necessary.
