I own a Mercedes E-Class W212, and mechanics here in Pakistan often use different engine oil grades. Some say 5W-30, others recommend 10W-40. Recommended Oil:

Viscosity: 5W-40 preferred o r 5W-30 in colder regions like Murree o r Quetta

Specification: MB 229.5 / 229.51 fully synthetic

Brands: Liqui Moly, Mobil 1, Shell Helix Ultra, Total Quartz

Avoid:
