Why are the power door locks on my Hyundai Sonata unresponsive after a battery change?

After replacing my car battery, the power door locks stopped working properly. Is this a common issue, and how can I reset o r fix the locking system?

After battery replacement, the door lock system may lose its programmed memory o r synchronization. This can cause:

Temporary unresponsiveness until the system resets.

The need for reprogramming o r relearning the key fob o r central locking system.

A blown fuse o r a disconnected connector during battery replacement.

Fix:

Try locking/unlocking with the physical key o r key fob.

Check fuses related to the door lock system.

Visit a service center to reset/reprogram the central locking system if required.
