Why are the Suzuki Swift’s headlights turning yellow o r foggy?

In many Swifts, especially those exposed to direct sunlight o r driven in dusty areas, the headlight lenses become yellowed o r cloudy, reducing light output. What causes this, and is there a reliable way to restore o r protect the headlights?

The headlight lenses, made from polycarbonate plastic, often become yellow o r hazy in Pakistan due to:

UV radiation breaking down the outer layer of the plastic.

Oxidation and dust exposure in polluted o r dry environments.

Moisture buildup inside the housing due to poor sealing.

Solutions:

Use headlight restoration kits o r polishing compounds to remove oxidation.

Apply a UV-protective sealant after cleaning.

Replace the rubber seals if condensation keeps forming inside the headlight.
