Why do the brake pads on my Mercedes S-Class wear out so quickly in Pakistan? Detail:

I drive a 2015 S-Class W222 mostly in Karachi city traffic, and I’ve noticed that the brake pads wear out unusually fast — sometimes within 15,000 km. Is this normal for Pakistani driving conditions, o r could there be an issue with my braking system o r the type of pads being used?

Frequent stop-and-go traffic, high temperatures, poor road conditions, and constant braking on uneven roads are common in cities like Karachi and Lahore. These factors lead to faster brake pad wear. Also, heavy weight and performance braking systems in the S-Class naturally consume pads quicker than smaller vehicles. Expect pad life between 15,000–25,000 km in Pakistani conditions.
