Sometimes the power door locks operate by themselves—locking and unlocking randomly without any input. What could cause this erratic behavior?

Random locking/unlocking is usually caused by:

A faulty key fob sending false signals due to a stuck button o r internal damage.

Issues with the central locking module, including software glitches o r short circuits.

Electrical problems like water ingress o r damaged wiring causing unintended commands.

Recommendation:

Replace o r repair the key fob battery o r unit.

Have the central locking module inspected by a qualified technician.

Check for moisture o r wiring damage inside door panels.
