Why do the power door locks on my Hyundai Sonata sometimes fail to lock o r unlock all doors?

Why do the power door locks on my Hyundai Sonata sometimes fail to lock o r unlock all doors?

Sometimes when I use the key fob o r the interior lock button, only some doors lock o r unlock, while others stay stuck. What could be causing this inconsistent locking behavior?

This inconsistent locking is usually due to:

A faulty door lock actuator in one o r more doors not responding correctly.

Wiring issues such as loose connections o r corrosion in the door harness.

Problems with the central locking module that controls all door locks.

Sometimes mechanical linkage inside the door gets stuck o r broken.

Fix: A technician will inspect actuators, wiring, and the control module. Replacing faulty actuators o r repairing wiring usually resolves the issue.
