Why Does My C-Class Have Rough Idling o r Engine Vibration at Low Speeds?

Many Pakistani users notice rough idling, slight jerks, o r engine vibrations while the car is stationary o r moving slowly. Could this be caused by dirty fuel, weak engine mounts, o r sensor issues in Pakistan’s driving conditions?

Rough idling o r engine vibration in C-Class models is often caused by:

Worn o r broken engine mounts very common on Pakistani roads.

Dirty throttle body o r fuel injectors due to poor fuel quality.

Vacuum leaks o r faulty mass airflow MAF o r O2 sensors.

Carbon buildup in intake valves especially in direct injection engines.

Solutions:

Get the engine mounts inspected and replaced if necessary.

Perform injector and throttle body cleaning every 30,000 km.

Use high-quality petrol and occasionally add a fuel system cleaner.

Scan the car for fault codes if vibration is accompanied by poor performance.
