Slipping gears often indicate worn clutch packs, low fluid pressure, o r a failing torque converter.

It may also occur due to contaminated transmission fluid o r damaged internal seals.

Solution: Inspect and top-up o r replace the transmission fluid. If the fluid is burnt o r dark, it may signal internal damage, in which case a gearbox service o r rebuild may be required.
