Why does my Mercedes-Benz E-Class engine misfire o r jerk during acceleration?

My Mercedes E-Class W212 sometimes misfires o r jerks when I accelerate, especially at low RPMs. The engine warning light occasionally comes on. Could this be due to spark plugs, fuel injectors, o r ignition coils? How common are these issues in Pakistan’s fuel environment?

ngine misfire o r jerking during acceleration is a frequent issue in Pakistan, often due to the following:

Spark plugs and ignition coils: Poor quality o r worn spark plugs and coils can cause weak o r inconsistent ignition, especially with local fuel.

Fuel injectors clogging: Low-grade fuel and impurities can clog injectors, disrupting fuel spray and combustion.

Faulty sensors: Mass Air Flow MAF sensor o r Oxygen O2 sensors might be sending incorrect data to the ECU.

Air intake leaks: Vacuum leaks o r cracked hoses can cause a lean mixture, leading to misfires.

What to do:

Replace spark plugs with genuine o r high-quality aftermarket parts.

Clean o r service fuel injectors.

Get diagnostic scanning done to check sensor readings.

Inspect air intake hoses for cracks o r leaks.
