Why does my Mercedes-Benz E-Class engine overheat in traffic o r during long drives in Pakistan?

I’ve noticed that my Mercedes-Benz E-Class engine starts overheating during long drives o r when stuck in traffic, especially in the summer. What are the most common causes of engine overheating in these situations? Could it be due to radiator issues, cooling fan failure, o r coolant problems?

Overheating during traffic o r long drives is a common issue in Mercedes-Benz E-Class vehicles, especially in Pakistan’s high-temperature climate. Common causes include:

Cooling Fan Failure: If the electric cooling fan isnt working properly, the engine can overheat when the car is idling o r moving slowly.

Low o r Old Coolant: Coolant levels may due to leaks, o r the coolant may become ineffective if not changed regularly.

Clogged Radiator: Dust and debris from Pakistan’s roads can clog the radiator, reducing cooling efficiency.

Thermostat Issues: A stuck thermostat can prevent coolant from circulating properly.

Air Pockets in the Cooling System: Improper coolant refilling can trap air in the system, affecting flow.

Solution:
Regular coolant flushes, cleaning the radiator, checking fan operation, and inspecting hoses and thermostat can prevent overheating in these situations.
