Why does my Mercedes-Benz E-Class get frequent dents and scratches despite careful driving in Pakistani cities?

Many E-Class owners in Pakistan notice small dents and scratches appearing regularly on their cars, even when they drive cautiously. Could narrow, congested streets, careless parking, and the presence of two-wheelers and rickshaws be the main reasons? How can owners minimize these everyday cosmetic damages in busy urban environments?

Even with careful driving, dents and scratches are common in Pakistan due to several local factors:

Narrow and congested roads: Cities like Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad have tight streets with heavy traffic, making it easy to accidentally brush against other vehicles o r obstacles.

Two-wheelers and rickshaws: Motorcycles and rickshaws often weave through traffic and park closely, increasing the risk of minor bumps.

Parking challenges: Limited parking spaces often lead to tight spots, increasing the chances of scratches from neighboring cars o r careless pedestrians.

Roadside vendors and pedestrians: Crowded areas can lead to accidental scratches from goods, bags, o r keys.

To minimize damage:

Park in well-lit, less crowded areas.

Use protective accessories like door edge guards.

Be extra cautious in tight parking spots.
