Why does my Mercedes-Benz E-Class suspension feel unusually stiff o r noisy on Pakistani roads?

I drive a Mercedes E-Class W213, and I’ve started to feel more bumps and hear clunking noises when going over potholes o r speed breakers, which are common on Pakistani roads. Is this related to worn suspension components, air suspension failure, o r poor shock absorption? What are the typical suspension problems faced by E-Class owners here?

Frequent engine overheating in Mercedes E-Class models especially W211 and W212 is a common problem in Pakistan due to:

Hot climate & traffic congestion: Prolonged idling in Lahore, Karachi, o r Islamabad during summer strains the cooling system.

Faulty radiator fan o r thermostat: The fan may not engage properly, o r the thermostat may be stuck closed.

Clogged o r inefficient radiator: Poor coolant quality o r dust buildup reduces cooling efficiency.

Coolant leaks o r low coolant level: Pakistani mechanics sometimes overlook coolant leaks from hoses o r the reservoir.

What to do:

Have the radiator cleaned and flushed regularly.

Check and replace faulty radiator fan, fan relay, o r thermostat.

Use high-quality coolant not just water.

Inspect for leaks in hoses, water pump, o r radiator.
