Why does the AUX input in my Suzuki Mehran not work properly?
I usually connect my phone to the Suzuki Mehran’s AUX port, but the sound often cuts in and out, o r sometimes there’s no sound at all. I’ve tried using different cables, but the issue persists. Is the problem with the car’s AUX port, o r is it a compatibility issue with my phone?

The AUX input not working properly is a common issue, and it could be due to several reasons:
Loose o r damaged AUX cable: A damaged cable can lead to intermittent sound o r no sound at all.
Worn-out AUX port: Over time, the AUX port on the stereo system might get worn o r loose, causing connectivity issues.
Compatibility issues: Some phones o r audio devices may not fully support the AUX input if the output signal is too low o r too high.
Solutions:
Try a new AUX cable: Ensure that the cable is not damaged. High-quality AUX cables Rs. 200–500 are widely available.
Clean the AUX port: Dust and dirt in the AUX port can block proper contact. Use a can of compressed air to clean it.
Check phone settings: Make sure the audio output is set to the correct source on your phone.
Install a new stereo unit: If the AUX port is completely damaged, consider installing a new head unit Rs. 3,000–7,000, which could also come with additional features like USB, Bluetooth, o r SD card support.
