Why does the Hyundai’s crankshaft position sensor fail and cause starting problems?

My Hyundai occasionally struggles to start, and I’ve heard the crankshaft position sensor might be the culprit. What are the signs of a faulty crankshaft sensor, and how common is this issue in Pakistan?

The crankshaft position sensor detects engine speed and position to control ignition timing. Failure leads to:

Intermittent o r no start issues.

Engine stalling while driving.

Common causes in Pakistan include heat damage, wiring problems, o r contamination.

Replacing the sensor restores engine start reliability. Early replacement avoids breakdowns.
