Why does the JAC T6 experience gear slipping o r difficulty in shifting?

Many owners in Pakistan report occasional gear slipping o r resistance when shifting, especially in the lower gears o r under heavy load. What mechanical factors in the JAC T6’s manual o r automatic transmission contribute to these issues? Could low-quality transmission fluid, worn synchronizers, o r clutch problems be causing these symptoms, and how can owners diagnose and fix them?

Gear slipping o r difficulty in shifting in the JAC T6 can result from several factors:

Low o r degraded transmission fluid: Old, dirty, o r insufficient transmission fluid reduces hydraulic pressure, leading to slipping o r rough gear engagement.

Worn clutch components manual transmission: A worn clutch disc, pressure plate, o r release bearing can prevent full engagement of gears, causing slippage.

Synchronizer wear: In manual transmissions, worn synchronizers can make it difficult to smoothly engage gears.

Load and driving style: Carrying heavy cargo frequently o r aggressive shifting can accelerate wear on transmission components.

Owner recommendations:

Regularly check and replace transmission fluid according to the schedule.

Inspect and adjust clutch if shifting issues appear.

Avoid overloading the vehicle beyond the manufacturer’s rated capacity.
