Why does the paint on Mercedes-Benz C-Class door handles and trims fade o r discolor faster in Pakistan?
Many owners report that the paint o r finish on door handles, mirror caps, and plastic trim pieces fades o r turns dull much earlier than expected. Is this due to poor UV resistance, heat exposure, o r lower durability of painted plastic components? Are these parts more vulnerable in Pakistan’s hot and dusty environment?

Intense UV exposure in hot cities like Karachi, Lahore, and Multan
Poor heat resistance of the paint used on plastic components
Dust and pollution accelerating surface wear
These parts are often not clear-coated o r are coated with a thinner layer compared to the metal body, making them more prone to early fading. Using UV-protective wax, ceramic coatings, o r wraps/PPF on trims can help prolong their appearance.
