Why is coolant leaking from my BMW 2 Series radiator after long drives in Pakistans heat?

After driving long distances during summer in cities like Multan o r Hyderabad, I find coolant puddles under my BMW 218i. Could this be a radiator leak due to overheating, and how do I confirm it?

Coolant leakage after long drives in Pakistan’s extreme heat especially in Punjab and Sindh is often due to:

Thermal expansion stressing weak radiator components.

Cracked plastic radiator tanks common in BMWs with age o r poor-quality replacement parts.

Worn-out radiator cap, unable to maintain proper pressure.

Loose o r brittle hoses from engine bay heat.

Check under the radiator for green o r pink coolant stains. Also, inspect the upper and lower radiator tanks usually plastic for hairline cracks.

Tip: Never open the radiator cap when the engine is hot. Let it cool first.
