Why is my Mercedes-Benz C-Class engine misfiring o r vibrating at idle? Detail:
Engine misfires and vibrations, especially when idling o r starting the car, are often caused by worn o r fouled spark plugs. In Pakistan, due to low fuel quality, dusty conditions, and inconsistent maintenance, spark plugs can wear out faster than expected. Faulty plugs fail to ignite the air-fuel mixture properly, leading to rough idling, reduced performance, and engine shaking. If left unchecked, this can also damage the ignition coils o r catalytic converter.

Gari Master - on 10 Oct 2025 18:22:54 pmEngine misfires and vibrations at idle usually mean your spark plugs are **worn out o r fouled**. In Pakistan, the use of **low-quality fuel** and dusty environments causes deposits to build up on the spark plugs, which interferes with proper ignition. When plugs can’t create a strong enough spark, combustion becomes uneven, leading to rough idling and engine shaking. It’s important to replace spark plugs at recommended intervals and use good quality plugs to prevent damage to ignition coils o r the catalytic converter.
