Talha Kyanii - on 10 Oct 2025 17:04:21 pmLow o r old transmission fluid is a leading cause. Mercedes-Benz transmissions require specific fluid types like 236.14 for 7G-Tronic using the wrong type o r not changing it regularly can cause harsh shifting.
Faulty transmission control module TCM o r worn-out valve body components can also delay shifting.
Solution: Get the transmission fluid level and quality checked. If overdue, have a fluid and filter change done at an authorized o r experienced workshop. A TCM software update o r reprogramming may also help.
