Why is my Mercedes-Benz E-Class showing frequent ABS sensor warnings in Pakistan?

My Mercedes E-Class often displays ABS warning lights on the dashboard, especially when driving on rough o r wet roads common in Pakistan. Could this be due to faulty wheel speed sensors, wiring issues, o r sensor contamination from dust and mud? How common is ABS sensor failure here, and what are the typical causes?

Frequent ABS warning lights are often caused by:

Faulty wheel speed sensors: These sensors can fail due to wear and tear o r damage from rough roads, potholes, and off-road driving common in Pakistan.

Contamination: Dust, mud, and debris can accumulate on sensor rings o r sensor heads, causing inaccurate readings.

Wiring and connector problems: Corrosion o r loose connections, especially due to moisture and humidity during monsoon season, can disrupt sensor signals.

Sensor alignment: Improper sensor positioning after repairs o r accidents can lead to errors.

ABS sensor issues are relatively common in Pakistan due to harsh road conditions and exposure to dirt and moisture. Cleaning sensors, checking wiring, and replacing faulty sensors usually fix the problem.
