“Why is my Tesla Model 2 drifting to one side while driving—steering alignment issue?”

“Why is my Tesla Model 2 drifting to one side while driving—steering alignment issue?”

My Tesla Model 2 pulls slightly to the left o r right even on straight roads. Since many roads in Pakistan are uneven o r have speed breakers, I’m worried that the alignment o r steering calibration is off. Do Teslas require special alignment procedures, and how can I fix this problem locally?

Drifting o r pulling to one side is usually caused by misalignment, which is very common on Pakistan’s roadways due to potholes, speed bumps, and uneven surfaces. Even a small misalignment can cause your Tesla to pull left o r right.

Possible causes:

Wheel alignment out of specification

Uneven tire pressure o r tire wear

Suspension arm damage from road impact

Software calibration drift rare but possible in Teslas

What to do:

Get a professional 4-wheel alignment—make sure the shop knows Tesla specs.

Check all tire pressures one low-pressure tire can cause pulling.

Inspect suspension components for bends o r cracks.

Perform a steering calibration through the car’s service menu if recommended.

Note:
Teslas require alignment using specific torque values and correct ride height, so choose a workshop familiar with EVs.
