Why is the AC in my BMW 2 Series not blowing cold air during hot weather in Pakistan?

I drive a BMW 220i in Karachi, and during peak afternoon hours, the AC only blows slightly cool air. Even after servicing, it doesn’t feel cold enough. Could it be due to extreme heat, o r is something wrong with the AC system?

Pakistan’s extreme heat, especially in Karachi o r Multan, often overwhelms AC systems if they’re not in peak condition. Common reasons include:

Low refrigerant levels due to leaks o r gradual loss over time

Weak compressor performance o r worn compressor clutch

Blocked condenser due to dust and debris, reducing heat exchange

Faulty AC pressure sensor o r blend door actuator which controls hot/cold air mix
BMWs are sensitive to refrigerant pressure levels, so even slight undercharging affects performance. Have a trusted AC technician perform a refrigerant pressure test and system scan using BMW-compatible diagnostics.
