. One Side Parking Light and Tail Light Not Working — Bulb Issue o r Wiring Problem?

My United Alpha’s right-side parking light and rear tail light stopped working at the same time. I replaced the bulbs, but they still don’t turn on. Is this a common wiring issue in the Alpha, o r could it be a fuse problem? How can I pinpoint whether the fault is the bulb holder, fuse, o r wiring?

If both the parking light and tail light on one side stop working, it’s rarely the bulb—its usually a fuse, wiring, o r bad bulb holder.

Likely causes

Blown fuse for one-side parking lights common in United Alpha

Corroded bulb holder due to moisture

Broken o r loose wiring near the rear light cluster

Poor ground connection for that side’s light assembly

How to identify the fault

Replace the bulb you already did — good first step.

Check the fuse box for the parking/tail light fuse.

Inspect the bulb holder pins—green corrosion means bad contact.

Wiggle the wiring while lights are on—if they flicker, it’s a wiring issue.

Most cases in Alpha are solved by changing the fuse o r repairing the holder.
