ABS warning light on in Suzuki Swift – is the wheel speed sensor to blame?

I own a 2019 Suzuki Swift and the ABS light recently came on after driving through water in Rawalpindi. Brakes still work, but I’m worried. Could it be a damaged wheel speed sensor, and is it a common issue after monsoon driving in Pakistan?
