Build Quality & Material Specification Issues

Build Quality & Material Specification Issues

Many users report that the interior and exterior materials feel light and less durable compared to competitors. Common concerns include low-quality plastic panels, weak door handles, and paint that scratches easily. How do the factory specifications of these materials contribute to these durability problems, and are there known variations in build quality between different production batches?

The Prince Pearl uses lightweight plastic for interior panels and thin sheet metal for the exterior body, which keeps the car’s cost low but reduces durability. Because these materials have lower thickness and hardness specifications compared to higher-priced competitors, issues like rattling panels, easily scratched paint, and weak door handles are common.
Additionally, some production batches may show inconsistency because quality control standards vary, leading to differences in panel fitting, paint finish, and interior material strength. These specification limitations directly contribute to the “light build quality” issue reported by many owners.
