Can a faulty window regulator cause the windows to fall off track in my Suzuki Mehran?

Recently, the windows in my Suzuki Mehran started to fall off track, and I can no longer raise o r lower them properly. Could a faulty window regulator be causing this issue, and what can I do to fix it? Should I replace the regulator, o r is there another solution?

Yes, a faulty window regulator can cause the windows to fall off track. The regulator controls the movement of the window, and if it becomes damaged o r the cables inside break, the window can become misaligned and fall out of the track. Other possible causes include:

Damaged window tracks o r guides.

Broken o r loose mounting parts that hold the window in place.

Worn-out o r misaligned components. To fix this, you will likely need to replace the faulty regulator and possibly realign the window and tracks. If the window is completely off-track, it may need to be guided back into position before securing everything.
