Is driving with underinflated tires dangerous in a Suzuki Mehran?

Sometimes I forget to check tire pressure and drive with slightly flat tires. How does underinflation affect braking, fuel consumption, and safety, especially on long highway drives?

Yes, driving with underinflated tires is very risky, especially in a lightweight car like the Mehran. Low air pressure increases rolling resistance, which reduces fuel economy, causes the tire to flex more, and leads to excessive heat build-up, risking a blowout. It also affects braking distance and steering control, which is dangerous on highways o r in emergency situations. Underinflated tires also wear on the outer edges, shortening their lifespan. Check pressure at least once a month o r before any long trip.
