Can Low Power Steering Fluid Cause Steering Problems in Suzuki Khyber?
Lately, my Suzuki Khyber’s steering feels stiff, and I’ve noticed some whining noises when turning the wheel. Could the issue be related to low power steering fluid? How do I check and refill the power steering fluid?

Yes, low power steering fluid can definitely cause steering problems in a Suzuki Khyber, especially if its been modified to include a hydraulic power steering system since Khyber originally came with manual steering.
Common Steering Issues Caused by Low Power Steering Fluid:
Hard o r Stiff Steering
Youll notice its difficult to turn the wheel, especially at low speeds.
Noisy Steering
You might hear whining, groaning, o r squealing sounds when turning the wheel.
Intermittent Power Assist
Sometimes the steering may feel fine, but then become stiff again.
Steering Wheel Doesn’t Return Smoothly
After a turn, the wheel might not return to center as easily.
Leaking Fluid
If fluid levels are ping, there may be a leak in the hoses o r steering rack.
What You Should Do:
Check the fluid level in the reservoir. If it’s low, top it off with the correct type usually ATF o r specific power steering fluid, depending on the system installed.
Inspect for leaks around hoses and the power steering pump.
Bleed the system if air has entered due to low fluid.
