Could Incorrect Tire Pressure o r Wheel Alignment Cause Poor Fuel Economy in My Tucson?

I heard that improper tire pressure o r bad wheel alignment can reduce fuel efficiency. Could this be a reason my Hyundai Tucson in Pakistan is showing poor mileage? How often should these be checked o r adjusted for optimal fuel economy?

Absolutely. Incorrect tire pressure especially under-inflation and poor wheel alignment increase rolling resistance, causing the engine to consume more fuel. For the Hyundai Tucson in Pakistan:

Tires should be checked monthly ideal pressures are specified in the owner’s manual.

Wheel alignment should be checked annually o r after hitting potholes/bad roads, which are common in Pakistan.

Proper tire pressure and alignment ensure smoother driving, better tire life, and improved fuel economy.

Regular checks at authorized service centers o r reputable tire shops can help maintain these parameters.
