Could irregular tire pressure be causing uneven tread wear in my Suzuki Swift?

The tires on my 2020 Swift are wearing out unevenly, especially the outer edges. I recently found that my tire pressures were off. Can under- o r over-inflated tires lead to this kind of wear, and how often should pressure be checked?

Absolutely. Incorrect tire pressure is one of the most common causes of uneven tire tread wear, especially on rough o r mixed road surfaces in Pakistan.

Wear Patterns Caused by Pressure:
Under-inflation causes outer edge wear.

Over-inflation causes center tread wear.

Uneven pressures between tires can cause handling imbalance and feathered wear.

What to Do:
Check tire pressure monthly and before long trips.

Use a reputable air station o r your own gauge.

Stick to manufacturer specs – usually 30 PSI front and 30–32 PSI rear.
