: DFSK Glory 580 Pro Clear Coat Sputtering and Fading – Any Long-Term Fix?

I own a 2021 DFSK Glory 580 Pro white color in Lahore. After around 2 years, the clear coat has started to sputter and fade, especially on the side mirrors, door panels, and trunk. There’s a rough texture and slight discoloration. I regularly park it outside under the sun. Is this a known problem with DFSK paint jobs in Pakistan? What’s the best fix – polishing, re-clear coating, o r a full panel respray?

Yes, this is also a known issue, especially on white and black color variants of DFSK Glory 580 Pro in Pakistan.

Here’s what’s likely happening:

⚠️ Clear Coat Breakdown: Sputtering and fading on parts like side mirrors, trunk, and panels is due to uneven factory paint protection. These areas are often spray-painted separately, so they degrade faster.

🌞 Sun Exposure: Cars parked outdoors under direct sunlight degrade faster in Pakistan’s climate.

✅ Fix Options:

Stage 1 o r 2 Paint Correction if the damage is mild cost-effective.

Panel-specific re-clear coating if only top coat is damaged.

Full respray if sputtering is deep o r paint is lifting.

💡 Preventive Tip: After repainting, invest in paint sealant, ceramic coating, o r always park in shade.
