Has the factory suspension setup of Suzuki Khyber become outdated for Pakistani roads?

Khyber was originally built with a simple strut-based front suspension and leaf springs at the rear, but it feels too stiff and noisy now. Even on slightly rough roads, the ride is uncomfortable. Is this a design flaw for modern road conditions o r just due to worn-out suspension components?

Khyber’s suspension was built for lightweight city driving, with MacPherson struts in the front and leaf springs at the back. Over time, this setup has proven too stiff and noisy, especially on rough urban roads and speed bumps common in Pakistan. The leaf spring rear suspension isn’t ideal for comfort. If not maintained o r if low-quality replacement parts are used, it becomes even harsher. Upgrading to high-quality shocks and replacing worn bushings and mounts can improve comfort, but the design itself is basic by modern standards.
