How can I tell if the water pump in my Swift is leaking coolant?

There’s a small coolant puddle under my 2014 Swift every morning, and the coolant level s every few days. I can’t see any leaking hoses. Could it be the water pump gasket o r seal that’s leaking? How do I confirm if its coming from the water pump?

If you notice coolant puddles under the car and the coolant level is ping, the water pump may be leaking. Common causes include:

Worn shaft seal inside the pump

Gasket failure between the pump and engine block

Corroded pump housing due to poor-quality coolant o r tap water

Look for:

Coolant stains around the water pump pulley o r engine front

White o r greenish residue dried coolant

Drips from the weep hole at the bottom of the pump a built-in leak indicator

This issue is widespread in older Swift models in Pakistan where regular coolant flushing is often ignored. Have the pump and cooling system pressure tested to confirm the leak source.
