How do I know if my Suzuki Swift’s cabin air AC filter is clogged?

The AC in my 2015 Swift doesn’t cool well, and the airflow from the vents feels weak even at high fan speed. I drive a lot in Karachi where it’s dusty. Could a clogged cabin air filter be the reason, and how can I check o r replace it myself?

A clogged cabin air filter also called AC filter is one of the most overlooked issues in Pakistan, yet it directly affects AC cooling and airflow. In dusty cities like Karachi o r Peshawar, these filters clog quickly.

Symptoms of a clogged AC filter:

Weak airflow from vents, even at full fan speed

AC not cooling properly

Dusty o r musty smell in the cabin

Whistling noise from vents

DIY Tip:
In most Suzuki Swifts, the cabin filter is located behind the glovebox. It’s easy to access and replace. Change it every 10,000–15,000 km o r every 6–12 months, especially during summer.
