To diagnose faulty ignition coils, technicians usually perform the following:

OBD-II scanner: Check for error codes related to misfires P0300-P0304 which often indicate coil problems.

Visual inspection: Look for cracks, burns, o r corrosion on ignition coils and connectors.

Spark test: Use a spark tester to check if the coil is producing a strong spark.

Swap test: Replace suspected faulty coil with a known good one and see if the misfire moves to a different cylinder.

Multimeter testing: Measure coil resistance and compare with manufacturer specifications.

In Pakistan, many garages offer basic diagnostic scanning however, ensure the use of proper tools for accurate diagnosis.
