How to fix the Parking Sensor Fault error in Mercedes S-Class in Pakistani weather conditions?

The parking sensors in my S-Class often stop working, especially during monsoon season o r after a car wash. I get a persistent Parking Assist Inoperative message. Is this a common issue with the S-Class here, and can high humidity o r dirty roads be the cause?

Frequent rain and humidity can cause parking sensors to malfunction o r short out. It’s also common for dirt and water to collect around the sensors. Cleaning them with a soft cloth and checking for water ingress o r wiring damage often helps. If the error persists, one o r more sensors may need replacing — a diagnostic scan can pinpoint the faulty one.
