How to reset service light in Toyota Tiger/VIGO

Does anyone know how to reset the service light in a Toyota Tiger or a Toyota VIGO? Someone i know has a VIGO and the fuel filter replace light came on. Even after the filter was changed, the light stays on. neone know how to turn this light off? can anyone help? i know that service light reset tools are used for this, but there is always a manual system to over-ride this.

With the key in "off" position, press the ODO/Trip reset knob. While continuing to hold, turn the key to "ON" (Don't start) and continue holding till the "spanner" disappears.
