Is High Engine Oil Consumption a Known Problem in Pakistan-Assembled Tucson?

I bought a 2022 Hyundai Tucson in Pakistan, and ever since 10,000 km, the oil level s significantly before every service. I’ve heard other local Tucson owners mention the same. Is this a known issue with the Pakistan CKD versions, and is Hyundai offering any fix o r explanation?

Yes, several Tucson owners in Pakistan have reported noticeable oil consumption—especially in the 2.0L petrol Nu MPI engine. While Hyundai hasnt officially acknowledged a widespread problem in Pakistan, similar engines have shown oil consumption issues internationally due to:

Piston ring design flaws.

Low tension oil control rings.

Poorly controlled engine manufacturing tolerances.

Some owners report the issue becoming worse after 10,000–20,000 km. Hyundai Pakistan’s customer service response may vary by dealership, but persistent complaints could lead to a more thorough engine diagnosis o r even internal service bulletins being applied discreetly.
