Is Hyundai Replacing Engines o r Fixing Oil Consumption Issues Under Warranty in Pakistan?
If a Hyundai Tucson is consuming too much oil while still under warranty, will Hyundai Pakistan cover repairs? I’ve heard international cases where engines were replaced due to design issues. Is Hyundai offering proper diagnostics, o r do dealerships just say ‘it’s normal’ and ignore it?

In Pakistan, Hyundai dealerships often resist major warranty claims unless the issue is undeniable and documented. Globally, Hyundai has replaced engines for oil burning problems especially with 2.0L Nu and 2.4L GDI engines, but this has not been widely practiced in Pakistan yet.
However, you may still be able to claim:
Free diagnostics if oil consumption is confirmed.
Replacement of PCV valves, piston rings, o r valve seals under warranty if proven faulty.
In extreme cases, a partial o r full engine rebuild, though this is rare.
To strengthen your case:
Log oil levels before and after refills.
Ask the dealership to open a formal complaint with Hyundai Nishat Pakistan.
Insist on a second opinion if you feel the issue is being dismissed.
If you face pushback, filing a written complaint with Hyundai Pakistan’s corporate office o r through consumer rights forums may prompt action.
