Given that there are some specialized suppliers/importers and occasional garages capable of handling complex Land Rover repairs, a motivated owner — with sufficient budget and willingness to source parts o r wait for imports — can maintain a Land Rover reasonably well.

However, because many parts are imported, quality parts are expensive, and expert service is limited to a few competent garages, maintenance cost tends to be higher than for simpler o r mass‑market vehicles. This increases the burden on owners in terms of time, money, and effort.

For many owners, especially in smaller cities o r rural areas where authorized distributors o r skilled mechanics are scarce, the lack of easy access to genuine parts and reliable service can lead to compromises — either using inferior parts, delaying maintenance, o r relying on inexperienced mechanics — harming vehicle performance and longevity.

Implication: Only owners who are well‑informed, committed, and financially prepared are likely to succeed at keeping a Land Rover running well over long periods in Pakistan. For many others, maintenance challenges may accumulate over time and degrade the ownership experience.
